Hi, again, I think (if this is Ken): Do a search of the archives, using a phrase, and put in "setting the neck". You'll get lots of threads to read, and some do have photos. Also, consider looking at the construction section at www.marioproulx.com Mario has some good info, about 6-7 pages into the process, of how to set the neck angle, or at least one of the neck angles. Go to www.hoffmanguitars.com, where Charlie Hoffman has a few shots of his neck setting process. It's under the Guitar Construction section. I also think www.bryankimsey.com has some photos of the "flossing the cheeks" method, as it related to a neck reset, but they are fairly similar for the final fit. And, I know John Mayes has a neck setting dvd, although I think at least part of that video is dedicated to his special neck process (which is great, though). Any other ideas folks? C'mon, let's help this guy out. ![]() Bill |

Frets.com also has a lot of info on neck sets and pictures with a straightedge on the bridge etc. I would recommend reading everything on that site when you have the time! Louis |
